A little bit about me…
I'm a former middle school math teacher and school administrator. Currently, I work in the financial services space as a corporate learning consultant. Most importantly, I am a mom to 3 boys (ages 7, 4, and 1) and I created the world of the Moneytree Monkeys to give more exposure to money concepts to my own kids. As a teacher, this topic was never given the time it deserved, and I realized it would be up to me as a parent to help shape my kids’ understanding of finances. The memorable world of the Moneytree Monkeys is meant to give kids an engaging way to shape their own thoughts and begin to think about how we use money as a society, so they can learn to be money-savvy before it’s serious and confusing!
